Kofiland, Thekkady

Situated beside the road NH183 connecting Kottayam and Thekkady, a paved driveway slopes downhill into Kofiland between the slopes of a pair of adjacent hillocks, their slopes draped with coffee bushes and pepper vines- to the bottom of a valley to reach Kofiland's open to the air lobby. A rivulet serenely courses through the crook of the valley here, flowing beneath the lobby to emerge and form a lake.
